Our Vision & Mission
St. Nicholas seeks to be a vibrant, Spirit-filled parish rooted in prayer, shaped by Scripture and the sacraments, and formed in the love of Jesus Christ. We long to see lives transformed by grace, disciples strengthened in faith, and the Gospel shared faithfully to the next generation. Our vision is to be a community that pours itself out for God by living the life of prayer together, growing in holiness, and bearing witness to Christ in the world.
Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commandment and Great Commission by living as faithful witnesses to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are called to love God with heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We do this by embracing the life of prayer, both individually and communally, through the pattern of the Book of Common Prayer and the ancient wisdom of the Church. As we grow in the Spirit through worship, spiritual disciplines, and community, we are equipped to serve. We believe that witness begins with inward transformation and bears fruit in outward mission.
